William Nanshan Lucht

William Nanshan Lucht is Administration and Communications Coordinator in the North American Representative Office of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

William has been supporting ADB’s work in North America since December 2020. He supports communication with ADB’s key stakeholders in the United States and Canada.

Before his current assignment, William was a Senior Youth Project Coordinator with the ADB Youth for Asia Initiative. From 2019 to 2020 he developed and led youth engagement pilot programs in the environment and natural resources sectors for projects in Thailand, Mongolia, and the People’s Republic of China.  

Prior to joining ADB, William Lucht worked in video game development and supported the US State Department in educating outgoing US diplomats in area studies for their future posts.  

William received an MSc in International Public Policy and a BA (Hons) in History from the University College London. He has published papers on development and futures studies in peer-reviewed journals.
