Targeted Pacific Financial Sector Strengthening: Supporting National Risk Assessments
The technical assistance (TA) project aimed to support selected Pacific developing member countries (DMCs) to prepare their national risk assessments (NRAs) on anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) as required under the International Standards on Combating Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Proliferation, which was adopted in 2012 by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and the Asia Pacific Group on Anti-Money Laundering. Preparing the Mekong Water Supply and Sanitation Project

The transaction technical assistance (TA) supported the preparation of a project loan that aimed to develop a well-trained, skilled workforce that would meet the needs of priority industries in Xinzhou, Shanxi Province of the People’s Republic of China (PRC). The TA also intended to build the capacity of the Xinzhou Municipal Government (XMG) and the technical and vocational education and training (TVET) institutions to implement the ensuing project.
