Sustainable Development and Climate Change Department
Katharine’s focus is on increasing public and private climate and nature positive investments in ADB operations. In support of ADB's Healthy Ocean Action Plan she is the focal for the Sustainable Seafood and Oc ean Finance Flagships. This has involved developing an Ocean Finance Partnership Facility, supporting thematic bond issuance through the Blue Bond Incubator and creating opportunities in the regenerative aquaculture space. Prior to joining ADB Katharine roles have included work in South and South East Asia developing projects that promote sustainable supply chains, the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and as an environment and climate advisor with the UK Government.
