Strengthening the Environment Dimensions of the Sustainable Development Goals in Asia and the Pacific: Knowledge-Sharing Workshop 2019 Proceedings

Publication | October 2020

This publication provides a summary of the discussions and findings from a regional workshop on implementing environment-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Asia and the Pacific.

In November 2019, policymakers and representatives of civil society and international organizations gathered in Manila, Philippines, to discuss challenges and opportunities for implementing environment-related SDGs in the region. The delegates shared country experiences, explored tools and approaches, and identified the next steps to integrate SDGs 12, 14, and 15 into country development plans, policies, and programs. They also reflected on outcomes and lessons from an ADB technical assistance project designed to support these efforts.
