Strategy 2030 Transport Sector Directional Guide—Transport as an Enabler of Development
This Transport Sector Directional Guide (TSDG) provides the strategic direction of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the transport sector.
This sector guide assesses the status of transport systems across Asia and the Pacific, the emerging challenges, and how ADB can best position itself to add value in sector assistance. The TSDG outlines the differentiated and emerging focus for transport sector assistance to be provided by ADB from 2022 to 2030 and aligns future transport sector assistance with the policy focus of Strategy 2030. It reflects achievements under ADB’s Sustainable Transport Initiative Operational Plan (STI-OP), 2010; aspirations under this document, and serves to enhance targets through 2030.
This sector guide is designed to be a living document, to be updated as required, to remain relevant to the dynamic development context of Asia and the Pacific.
