ADB supports projects in developing member countries that create economic and development impact, delivered through both public and private sector operations, advisory services, and knowledge support.
Ms. Shen, a national of the United States, holds Masters degrees from Harvard JFK School of Government and MIT Sloan School of Management; and a Bachelor degree in Economics from Wellesley College. She brings more than 20 years of development finance experience, covering both sovereign and non-sovereign operations. She leads ADB’s efforts to implement improved approaches, systems, and procedures for better management for development results. In this role, she also works to ensure ADB’s alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals and fulfillment of development effectiveness commitments.
