The Memorandum of Understanding between the Asian Development Bank and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) reaffirms their commitment to work together in areas of mutual interest in the service of developing countries of common membership in the Asian and Pacific region. ADB and ESCAP aim to achieve internationally agreed development goals, including the outcomes of the post-2015 development process, and to support poverty reduction and sustainable development through improved cooperation and connectivity at the regional and sub-regional levels.
