The TA will support the government in preparing feasibility study on ensuing project with a coordination with TA 9621-REG. While TA 9621-REG will be focusing on suggesting solutions for making the project Paris Agreement aligned from climate change perspectives, the TA will carry out analysis of safeguards, economic and financial management, and gender aspects of the proposed project. The TA will provide guidance and support needed for the Department of Highways in shaping climate resilient technical solutions and preparation of the project implementation.

Description The TA will support the government in preparing feasibility study on ensuing project with a coordination with TA 9621-REG. Project Rationale and Linkage to Country/Regional Strategy The transaction technical assistance (TA) will help the government prepare the project. In response to the government's request for preparatory action for the proposed project, ADB will be providing support in conducting necessary due diligence required for any ensuing loan of ADB. The transaction TA is designed to supplement the ongoing activities supported by TA 9621-REG to navigate potentials to align the project with the Paris Agreement.
