The project will support the development of the Khushig Valley area as a green, resilient, efficient, and inclusive satellite city around the New Ulaanbaatar International Airport. The proposed satellite city aims to attract residents, public services, and economic activities currently overconcentrated in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia.

The transaction technical assistance will help the government prepare the investment project, which is a complex and multisector undertaking that requires full scale due diligence of the technical, economic, financial, social, resettlement, environmental, climate and disaster-resilience, and institutional aspects.

Consulting Services A consulting firm will be engaged using quality-based selection method and full technical proposal, with total consulting inputs of 128 person-months (39 person-months, international; 89 person-months, national).
