Project Rationale and Linkage to Country/Regional Strategy | The negative economic and social impacts of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic and efforts of governments in Central and West Asia to recover require increased support to gender mainstreaming, especially in the challenging sectors of energy, finance, public sector management, and transport to ensure women's inclusion in the recovery and rebuilding efforts and to strengthen women's resilience against current and future external shocks. |
