Thomas W. Kessler
Thomas has started his assignment at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in April 2018 as Principal Disaster Finance Specialist (Disaster Insurance). His focus has since then been to leverage the broad range of the insurance industry’s risk management expertise eventually integrating risk transfer instruments into comprehensive Disaster Finance, Infrastructure Finance, SME Finance as well as other Sustainable and Climate, Green and Blue Finance Solutions for developing member countries.
As a Swiss citizen, Thomas holds a master degree in General Economics and Business Administration of the University of Berne, Switzerland. He grew up in Belgium and is married with four children.
