Ms. Jingmin Huang is the Director for the Urban Development and Water Division of the Pacific Department of ADB where she leads a team that supports sustainable urban development and water service delivery in Pacific Island Countries by working closely with governments and development partners on technical, safeguards, financial management, and procurement issues. Through collaborations with other Pacific Divisions and SDCC, she engages the team in moving forward with several initiatives in Pacific including the Healthy Oceans agenda. Her professional track record spans more than 30 years experience including 14 years with ADB in the fields of urban planning, water, wastewater and solid waste management and project development. Prior to joining ADB, she was a fellow at St Hugh’s college in Oxford University, UK and lectured at the Department of Engineering Science, Oxford University. Previously, she worked for 10 years on urban planning and urban infrastructure projects development and implementation in the PRC.
