    India: Sustaining the Government of India–ADB Initiative for Mainstreaming Public–Private Partnerships

    The expected impact of the technical assistance (TA) was improved provision of infrastructure and delivery of service in additional Indian states (previously not covered by Asian Development Bank TA projects) at state, urban local body, line ministry, and sector department levels. The outcome was improved public sector capacity to develop, implement, and monitor infrastructure public–private partnership (PPP) projects. This report validates the completion report's assessment of the TA. IED overall assessment is less than successful.

    Timor-Leste: Expansion of Financial Services

    Tajikistan: Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Corridors 3 and 5 Enhancement Project

    The project was approved to address the need to enhance the Sayron-Karamyk section to extend road service life and improve road safety and maintenance for better serviceability. The project's expected impact was enhanced regional economic cooperation and inclusive economic growth in Tajikistan. Its envisaged outcome was improved regional network (CAREC corridors 3 and 5 and the subnetwork) connectivity. This report validates the completion report's assessment of the project. IED overall assessment: Successful.

    Preparing the Mekong Water Supply and Sanitation Project

    The ultimate objective of the technical assistance (TA) was to improve the water supply and sanitation (WSS) facilities and hygiene practices of the urban population in nine secondary towns in the economic corridors of Cambodia, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR), and Viet Nam through the preparation of the design of Mekong Water Supply and Sanitation Project for ADB financing. This report validates the completion report's assessment of the TA. IED overall assessment is less than successful.

    Targeted Pacific Financial Sector Strengthening: Supporting National Risk Assessments

    The technical assistance (TA) project aimed to support selected Pacific developing member countries (DMCs) to prepare their national risk assessments (NRAs) on anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) as required under the International Standards on Combating Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Proliferation, which was adopted in 2012 by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and the Asia Pacific Group on Anti-Money Laundering.
