The Summit program will feature diverse sessions on issues ranging from financing, statistics, fragile states and the climate crisis, as well as Regional/Thematic High-Level Dialogues.
Regional High-Level Dialogue for Asia Pacific
The battle against climate change will be won or lost in Asia and the Pacific and ADB has stepped up as the climate bank for the region elevating its ambition to provide $100 billion in cumulative climate finance from 2019 to 2030 from its own resources.
During COP27 several key climate initiatives were launched by different countries in Asia and the Pacific that will be fundamental if the region is to make progress on climate action. To support its developing member countries, ADB continues to place climate action at the core of its development agenda and has intensified its climate action, launching game-changing climate financing and knowledge platforms in collaboration with its member countries and development partners.
Robust results systems can be instrumental in monitoring progress of climate action initiatives and ensuring effective acceleration of capital flows for climate action. This dialogue will explore how alignment can be achieved between governments, investors and development partners in results management to drive effective climate action and capital mobilization.
