Senior Infrastructure Specialist (Innovation and Green Finance)

Ghislain de Valon is a Senior Infrastructure Specialist (Innovation and Green Finance) at the Asian Development Bank on secondment from Agence Française de Développement (AFD). In the Southeast Asia Green Finance Hub, he is leading the operationalization of the Blue SEA Finance Hub, which aims to catalyze financing and develop ocean health projects in Southeast Asia.
He has previously been the Country Director of AFD’s Resident Mission in Indonesia, then in Kenya where he was responsible for AFD’s sovereign and nonsovereign lending as well as joint cofinancing with an estimated portfolio of 2 billion Euro.
