ADB and Georgia: Pursuing the Sustainable Development Goals

Publication | August 2022

This brochure overviews Georgia's progress in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and how ADB is contributing.

Georgia took early action on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by designating a unit to coordinate and lead the planning and implementation of the country’s SDG efforts. Georgia’s voluntary national review in 2020 highlighted three SDG priority areas: economic growth, human capital development and social welfare, and governance. The brochure explains how ADB’s country partnership strategy with Georgia is aligned with these priorities and the support the bank is providing through grants and loans.
